The Coaches Council is made up of two parents from each class. Their purpose is to be a sounding board for Head Coach Chris Hein and assist with many of the off-the-field activities that make the Redwing Football Program special. An additional function of the Council is to act as liaison between parents and the coaching staff when parents may be uncomfortable discussing an item or issue with the staff. This does not mean parents should not go to the coaches directly (and a Council member may ultimately suggest that the parent discuss an item directly with the coaches).
However, the Council members serve as another way of keeping the lines of communications open.
